In a world where most Euros are silver, grey, black or blue, we get excited if we find a red car and nearly drop a bollock when we see gold. It's certainly an unusual choice for one of Munich's finest but the House of Kolors Kandy Tequila Sunrise seemed the perfect decision under a warm Californian sun, where it glowed as if touched by Midas himself.

The 2001 330i belongs to Vijay Patel from Los Angeles. The 20 year-old has owned it from new when it was originally black and his only aspiration was a set of clear corners. "After that it just kinda snowballed and here it is..." he said by way of explanation.

The snowball gathered momentum at Wheel Power Fest 2 - an event organized by SoCal tuner Wheel Power. "I saw the Europrojektz crew and noticed another Indian guy walking around. There aren't many of us in the scene, we got talking and I was invited to join," Vijay told us. "At the time I had M3 fenders and chrome wheels. I liked it but now know it wasn't as cool as I thought."

Hurry and pick up the November 2005 issue of eurotuner Magazine for the complete story, and a lot more photos
