There's no question the Worthersee Tour is the largest VW and Audi gathering in the world. The four-day long event brings every enthusiast together around Lake Worthersee in Austria.
For the past few years, manufacturers have taken notice and debuted impressive concepts at the festival. How can we forget Volkswagen GTI W12 650? The twin-turbo and widebody GTI made waves across the world and was even shipped to the US to attend eurotuner's own Kreuzerfest to Waterfest last year (et 10/08).
Now for this year's Worthersee (May 20-23), expect another concept car to keep people talking. Although maybe not as extravagant as the W12, Aud will be displaying 20 cars including the supercharged 402hp and 369 lb-ft Q5.The Q5 on disply features a custom matte grey paint job with 21" wheels, 90mm widened track and lowered suspension. Red accents were applied to the wheels, roof rails, front valance and rear spoiler. The engine comes from the new S4 supercharged 3.0 TFSI V6. An exhaust system, ceramic brakes, cold-air intake round up the performance upgrades. Audi will also have these cars on display at Wrthersee Tour this week:
